Activision may have hinted at the release date for the next
“Call of Duty” video game, which is expected to be called “Call of Duty:
Modern Warfare 4.” According to a report by IGN
on Feb. 7, the publisher revealed that the upcoming first-person
shooter is expected to come out in North America sometime in late 2013.
The launch date is consistent with the release time frames from the
previous games in the series. No other details were revealed for “Call
of Duty: Modern Warfare 4.”
The latest release for the franchise, “Call of Duty: Black Ops 2,” came out for the Nintendo Wii, Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 platforms in North America starting on Nov. 13, 2012.
